Our goal at Beacon Property is to monitor your property regularly to provide you peace of mind in your absence. We provide custom, on-site, visual inspections of your home making sure that everything is in order while looking for obvious issues. At each visit, we will do a complete walk-through of the entire property both inside and out.

Exterior Inspection

• Every visit to your property will include at least:

  • Check that home services meet contract specifications

  • Walk the property and check the overall security of the home

  • Visually inspect exterior walls, roof and gutters (from the ground)

  • Visually check irrigation and landscaping for potential issues

  • Check and collect mail, remove newspapers and solicitations

  • Check exterior lighting and replace or repair as necessary

  • Visually check for pest or insect infestation and rodents 

  • Check garage and exterior storage areas

  • Start car to keep battery charged

  • Check driveway sticks for plows making sure that they are secure

  • Turn on main water valve upon arrival and shut off after inspection

  • And more...

Interior Inspection

• Every visit to your property will include at least:

  • Inspect/replace air filters

  • Ensure all doors and windows are locked

  • Check for water leaks in kitchen and bathrooms

  • Inspect all doors, windows and ceiling/floors for signs of water damage

  • Flush toilets, run faucets and sink disposal

  • Visually check for pest or insect infestation and rodents

  • Visually check for signs of mold and mildew

  • Check circuit panel for any tripped breakers

  • Visually inspect electric hot water heater, confirm breaker is off

  • Arm security system upon departure
